Your Volkswagen with the optional Park Assist can tell when driving past if a parking space is big enough – and also park the car for you. At speeds of up to 40 km/h, Park Assist continuously searches for suitable parallel parking spaces. It also searches for parking bays up to a speed of 20 km/h.
You can start the parking procedure after choosing one of the found parking spaces. Park Assist then takes over the steering. You only need to operate the accelerator pedal and brake and monitor the parking process.
Park Assist can also drive out of parallel parking spaces.
