The Innovision Cockpit made its world debut on the third-generation Touareg. Most of the controls are integrated in the display on the 15.0-inch screen of the top Discover Premium infotainment system, which curves towards the driver. These also include controls for the air conditioning system as well as seat heating control, ventilation and massage. On the other hand, intuitive switches such as the volume control which are very frequently used have deliberately been left in analog form. Angled towards the driver, the glass-covered screen of the Discover Premium infotainment system merges with the Digital Cockpit (12.0-inch digital instrument cluster), which also has a glass cover. The two screens form a continuous digital landscape with a common vision and control axis.
