The new ID.7 from Volkswagen is an all-electric fastback boasting long ranges and a spacious interior. In addition, numerous premium technologies ensure greater comfort and intuitive operation. These include the standard augmented reality head-up display, IDA voice assistant with Chat GPT integration and numerous assist systems. The models can be optionally ordered with either a 77 kWh or 86 kWh battery (net); they can be recharged with up to 200 kW at DC quick-charging stations (86 kWh version only).

The two millionth vehicle is an ID.3, produced at the Volkswagen Zwickau plant. The anniversary ID.3 was handed over to Kirsten Vormbrock at the Transparent Factory in Dresden this week. -
Bandai Namco, AirConsole and Volkswagen bring PAC-MAN into the vehicle
Volkswagen is expanding its gaming offering in selected models. The PAC-MAN Championship Edition is now available in the optional AirConsole In-Car App for playing on the infotainment display in a parked vehicle. A smartphone serves as the controller. ID.7 Pro S covers 941 km on one battery charge during efficiency test
Volkswagen has reached a new efficiency milestone on a circuit in Nardò, southern Italy: an ID.7 Pro S with a standard technology package and 210 kW (286 PS) covered a distance of 941 kilometres on just one battery charge (86 kWh net). This significantly exceeded the model’s maximum WLTP range (combined) of up to 709 kilometres by 232 kilometres or 32.7 percent. During the 941-kilometre tour, the ID.7 Pro S had an average consumption of just 9.2 kWh/100 km – an exceptionally low figure. Converted to a diesel equivalent, the average consumption achieved in Nardò corresponds to about just 1 litre per 100 km. The aim of the test in Nardò was to determine the maximum efficiency of the ID.7 Pro S introduced in 2024.

The new ID.7 Pro S and ID.7 Tourer Pro S - International Media Drive
They are the large touring vehicles in Volkswagen’s electric portfolio – the ID.7 Pro and ID.7 Tourer Pro. Volkswagen is now expanding the ID.7 range with the new Pro S models. The ID.7 Pro S and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S have a newly developed 86-kWh battery on board. Compared with the 77 kWh battery in the Pro models, this enables even longer journey distances between two charging stops: the ID.7 Pro S achieves a WLTP range of up to 709 km8, while the ID.7 Tourer Pro S can cover up to 690 km. In addition, the Pro S models can be charged at DC quick-charging stations with up to 200 kW (Pro models: 175 kW). The ID.7 Pro S and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S share both the maximum charging capacity and the new 86-kWh battery with the product line’s new performance versions: the ID.7 GTX and the ID.7 GTX Tourer. While the design focus of the all-wheel drive GTX models was on maximum sportiness, the rear-wheel drive Pro S versions were designed for maximum efficiency.
