Factory code: Type 15 Cabriolet

In addition to the larger engine, the new, high-mounted soft top is the biggest difference between the new VW 1300 Cabriolet and its predecessor. Instead of fabric, it is now made of plastic. The equipment, on the other hand, remains largely identical.

The Beetle 1300 Cabriolet is only built for one year before being replaced by the 1500 Cabriolet.
