The Arteon has enhanced the Volkswagen model range since March 2017 with a remarkable combination of emotive design, enormous versatility and generous space. A second body version was added in 2020: the spacious Shooting Brake with its strikingly sporty rear design. Advantages across all classes include excellent legroom at the rear and a generous luggage compartment volume. From a purely technical point of view, the Arteon Shooting Brake impress with either front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive as well as digitalised display and control elements and numerous assist systems – some standard, some optional.

    Arteon and Arteon R Shooting Brake: presales of the new performance models now underway

    The Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake are the sporty avant-garde models among company and touring cars. In the product line revamped in autumn 2020, Volkswagen is now starting presales of the flagship models: the Arteon R and Arteon R Shooting Brake with a powerful and efficient 235 kW (320 PS) four-cylinder turbocharged engine (TSI). This high power is transferred to the four wheels by a new all-wheel drive system: 4MOTION with R-Performance Torque Vectoring. The fastback version with its coupé-style rear end costs 61.484,87 euros in Germany; prices for the Shooting Brake as a dynamic reinterpretation of the estate car start from 62,347,56 euros.

    Summer highlight 2020: pre-sales of the new Arteon and Arteon Shooting Brake started

    Volkswagen is launching the new Arteon on the market and, as a first, offering a second body version at the same time: the new Arteon Shooting Brake. It redefines the concept of an estate with an emphatically sporty rear end. Pre-sales of both models starts now. As a fastback with coupé-style rear, Volkswagen has set the starting price for the Arteon at 43,524.37 euros; prices for the Shooting Brake start at 44,387.06 euros. The official launch will take place at the beginning of November. Towards the end of the year, both Arteon models will also be available with a plug-in hybrid drive and as R models with a Performance TSI engine.
