In the early 1970s, the Scirocco brought sportiness and coolness to the angular new Volkswagen era. It is considered the first ‘fun car’ from Volkswagen for the younger generation: with its iconic design by star designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and a completely new technical concept, the Scirocco quickly won the hearts of fans and achieved cult status.

Additional equipment and accessories (additional components, tyre formats, etc.) can alter relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, affecting the vehicle's fuel consumption, power consumption, CO₂ emissions and driving performance values in addition to weather and traffic conditions and individual driving behavior.
