The Digital Cockpit of the new Touareg is a fully digitalized alternative to the standard analog instruments and a key component in the Innovision Cockpit. The layout of the 12.0-inch screen can be individualized by the driver from the home screen or the multi-function steering wheel. Depending on the driver’s taste, both the layout and the type and number of elements displayed can be adapted. Those who prefer a minimalist approach can, for example, limit the display elements to the navigation system or media library (plus digital speedometer and gear indicator). The display of daily and total kilometers always remains active and is always shown in the same position. A variety of system display elements can also be integrated in the Digital Cockpit.
