The popular athlete for long journeys – now more powerful and economical than ever before and with lower emissions. The engine on board the Golf GTD is both powerful and efficient: the 2.0-litre TDI delivers an output of 147 kW (200 PS) and a torque of 400 Nm to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. The TDI engine already unleashes this power at very low engine speeds. The running gear has a sporty setup. The standard features include driving profile selection and progressive steering, which becomes more direct with increasing steering wheel angle. The sporty overall package is rounded off by GTD-specific features on the body and in the vehicle interior and by extensive standard equipment.
