The up! is a cleverly designed city specialist. It is available with two or four doors and trim levels take up!, move up!, high up!, cross up!, up! GTI and up! beats (with sound system). There is also a model, the load up!, designed for commercial use. As an innovation in this class, the up! is not only available with gasoline engines but also with a natural gas-powered option (eco up!) and with an all-electric powertrain on the independent e-up! models. Welcome back: Volkswagen e-up! available for order again
The success story of the e-up! can resume. The all-electric small car can now be ordered once again. For many customers, Volkswagen's successful model served as their entry into e-mobility – not least of all because the city specialist offers extensive standard equipment, space for four people and an impressive range. To date, over 80,000 of this model of vehicle have been sold around the world, and in Germany it was in second place in 2021 for all-electric vehicles with the most new registrations. -

The trade magazine auto motor und sport chose the winners of its “Best Cars 2019” Reader’s Choice Awards in Stuttgart today. Three models of the Volkswagen brand, the up!, Polo and Golf, were among the winners. The award, one of the top automotive awards of the year, was received by Volkswagen’s Brand Board of Management members Ralf Brandstätter (Chief Operating Officer), Dr Frank Welsch (Development) and Jürgen Stackmann (Sales, Marketing and After Sales). -
