With a length of around 3.50 metres and a width of 1.60 metres, the VW up! a clever and functional city car. Whether it's narrow streets or short parking spaces – there is almost no place in the city where the up! can't cope. Inside, it shows size and offers space for four people. Alternatively, there is the flexibility of the folding seats to significantly expand the trunk volume. As standard, the up! is equipped with the lane keeping system "Lane Assist" and traffic sign recognition, and additional assistance systems are available as an option.

Welcome back: Volkswagen e-up! available for order again
The success story of the e-up! can resume. The all-electric small car can now be ordered once again. For many customers, Volkswagen's successful model served as their entry into e-mobility – not least of all because the city specialist offers extensive standard equipment, space for four people and an impressive range. To date, over 80,000 of this model of vehicle have been sold around the world, and in Germany it was in second place in 2021 for all-electric vehicles with the most new registrations. -
Destined to win: up!, Polo and Golf are the winners in the “Best Cars 2019” Reader’s Choice Awards
The trade magazine auto motor und sport chose the winners of its “Best Cars 2019” Reader’s Choice Awards in Stuttgart today. Three models of the Volkswagen brand, the up!, Polo and Golf, were among the winners. The award, one of the top automotive awards of the year, was received by Volkswagen’s Brand Board of Management members Ralf Brandstätter (Chief Operating Officer), Dr Frank Welsch (Development) and Jürgen Stackmann (Sales, Marketing and After Sales). -
