Clever battery positioning

Nimble in the city, agile on country roads, laid back and quiet on the motorway: the new ID.3 is an athletic all-rounder that offers a superior and safe driving experience. The lithium-ion battery, located under the passenger compartment, ensures a low centre of gravity and equal distribution of the axle loads. The driving profile selection function is standard in all ID.3 models; the driver can use this to influence how the electric motors and steering system work as standard in the Eco, Comfort and Sport profiles.
