ID. Buzz GTX
The new ID. Buzz GTX is the most powerful production VW bus of all time! 250 kW (340 hp) accelerate the cherry-red and extremely manoeuvrable electric Bulli from a standstill to 100 km/h in around 6.5 seconds. The GTX front end with black high-gloss body elements also looks particularly powerful. Even the interior has been individualized accordingly: The GTX versions are the only ID. Buzz to be equipped with a black headliner. In the specific GTX design, the seats were also provided with red decorative stitching and the multifunction steering wheel was designed with a GTX logo. Overall, the top model of the series sets itself in the limelight with its incomparable performance, standard all-wheel drive and high towing capacities.
ID. family
The ID. family marked the beginning of a new era of electric mobility at Volkswagen in 2020. The brand has now launched a complete model family that is powered entirely by electricity. The first series-production vehicle in this family was the compact ID.3. This was followed by other saloons and SUVs, as well as the electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz. All derivatives are based on the Modular Electric Drive Matrix (MEB) – a platform designed exclusively for electric vehicles. The vehicles impress with their long electric ranges, fast charging function, new digital features and generous space.
Dresden
In addition to advice on models and technology from a specially trained team of experts, various test drives in electric vehicles such as the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7 and ID. Buzz take place every day across Dresden. According to Autostadt in Wolfsburg, the Gläserne Manufaktur is Volkswagen’s second-largest national delivery centre. Furthermore, located not far from the city centre, the Gläserne Manufaktur is a top attraction and a sought-after event venue in Saxony’s capital, welcoming up to 150,000 guests and hosting 200 events annually.

Test drives in the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7 and ID. Buzz are also offered. The following models can be picked up at the Transparent Factory: ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7 and ID.7 Tourer. The partially electrified models of the Golf, Tiguan, Passat and Tayron, as well as all variants of the Touareg, are also available for collection. Environmental protectionIn 2018, the Transparent Factory became the brand's first location worldwide to produce its vehicles in a CO₂ -neutral manner. The electricity supplied by Volkswagen-Naturstrom® and the heat supplied by Sachsen Energie are already carbon-free. This results in savings of over 4,000 metric tons of CO₂ per year. In addition, the vehicle fleet is also being made carbon-free. Responsibility for the environment also includes biodiversity. Environmental protection was already of central importance during the planning of the Transparent Factory: around 56,000 euros were invested in planting 350 trees.
