Andreas Mindt, born in Germany in 1969, began his career in the Volkswagen Group in 1996 after graduating with a degree from the Pforzheim University School of Design. During his first time at Volkswagen he worked on several key projects like the Golf 7 or Tiguan.
In 2014 Andreas joined AUDI as Head of Exterior Design. In this seven-year period, he oversaw the exterior design evolution of the breadth of the Audi model range, and the launch of the premium SUV coupé, the Audi Q8, and the e-tron, Audi’s very first full-electric production model.
In March 2021 he joined Bentley as Director of Design leading team of 50 designers, He was tasked with defining Bentley’s new design language, unveiled in summer 2022 with the Bentley Batur.
Bentley is part of VW Group since 1998, year later in 1999 Andreas worked on an iconic concept Bentley Hunaudières, car that emphases the new independent era of Bentley.
Since February 2023 Andreas Mindt is Head of Volkswagen Design and will shape Volkswagen’s design language for years of electric transformation.
