A legend reinvented

After the Volkswagen Type 1 ‘Beetle’ disappeared from the world stage, it left a huge gap. Not only in the model range, but above all in the hearts of its fans. The New Beetle and later The Beetle catapulted the successful Beetle principle into the future: with modern technology and bold, innovative shapes that completely reinterpreted the iconic classic Beetle design.

Additional equipment and accessories (additional components, tyre formats, etc.) can alter relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, affecting the vehicle's fuel consumption, power consumption, CO₂ emissions and driving performance values in addition to weather and traffic conditions and individual driving behavior.
