    Volkswagen launches the all-new T-Roc Cabriolet

    The new T-Roc Cabriolet is on its way to dealerships just in time for spring. Volkswagen’s first convertible crossover links the best of both the convertible and the SUV world by combining driving pleasure with usefulness and striking design. Elements including the rollover protection system and a reinforced windscreen frame are designed to ensure maximum safety. The new convertible is now available at Volkswagen dealerships, in Germany the model will be available from a basic price of €27,495.

    The new T-Roc R: outstanding performance and sporty lifestyle

    Powerful like a genuine sports car, casual like a versatile CUV – the new T-Roc R is the new star of the T-Roc family. Generating a mighty 221 kW/300 PS, the compact Volkswagen R powerhouse accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The vehicle reaches a top speed of 250 km/h before the electronics limit the forward thrust of the new top-of-the-range T-Roc version.

    T-Roc with new top-of-the-range engine and more customisation options

    Volkswagen enhances the range of special equipment for the T-Roc: the popular, compact SUV is now available to order with a particularly powerful 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 140 kW / 190 PS. Two new design packages are also available for the T-Roc: the “Black Style” equipment package lends the T-Roc more elegance, thanks to many black, contrasting elements; the optional “beats” package includes the first-class “beats” sound system and many highlights in red – on the inside and outside of the vehicle.

T-Roc on the Rocks

The 221-kW (300-PS) T-Roc R is the sportiest version of Volkswagen’s compact crossover. Works driver and professional racing driver Benjamin Leuchter was heavily involved in developing the high-performance model. On one of the Volkswagen Driving Experience’s winter training courses in Arvidsjaur, Sweden, he tested the driving characteristics of the T-Roc R and explained its advantages in icy conditions.
