    Volkswagen launches the all-new T-Roc Cabriolet

    The new T-Roc Cabriolet is on its way to dealerships just in time for spring. Volkswagen’s first convertible crossover links the best of both the convertible and the SUV world by combining driving pleasure with usefulness and striking design. Elements including the rollover protection system and a reinforced windscreen frame are designed to ensure maximum safety. The new convertible is now available at Volkswagen dealerships, in Germany the model will be available from a basic price of €27,495.

    Volkswagen is opening up a whole new dimension in its model range as pre-sales of the new T-Roc Cabriolet now get underway. The open-top variant of the successful crossover T-Roc embodies a concept that is unique in the compact class: the raised seating position of an SUV, a strikingly extrovert design and the open-air feel of a convertible. On top of this, the new T-Roc Cabriolet features the latest generation of infotainment. Enhanced comfort is ensured by numerous assistance systems, some of which are optional. Prices for the new compact CUV start at €27,495 with the 1.0 TSI 85 kW/115 PS and 6-speed manual gearbox.

    Volkswagen breathes fresh air into the SUV segment with the world premiere of the new T-Roc Cabriolet. The open-top version expands the range of the popular crossover model, adding yet more lifestyle to the booming SUV market. The new T-Roc Cabriolet sees its official presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) from 12 to 22 September. The launch will take place in spring 2020.

    Volkswagen brand's first SUV cabriolet: Supervisory Board confirms cabriolet version of T-Roc

    Green light for a new cabriolet based on the T-Roc: within the framework of its major model offensive, the Volkswagen brand is launching its first convertible SUV. The new model is to be produced from the first half of 2020. At its meeting held today, the Volkswagen Group Supervisory Board confirmed the investment of more than €80 million in the Osnabrück plant which is required for this purpose. With this decision, the brand will be continuing the cabriolet success story of the Osnabrück team and safeguarding employment at the plant.
