The stage is packed with crowds of people and cameras. It is almost impossible to catch a glimpse of the new "Energetic Orange" or "Reef Blue" paintwork, because everyone is trying to get close to the new Polo, to run their hands over the bodywork and explore what's inside. "Looks like we've created something really good with the new model. We're queuing up with everyone else just to get inside the car", says Volkswagen designer Tomasz Bachorski with a smile and finally manages to grab a seat inside the new Polo despite all the media attention at the world premiere in Berlin. As the doors close, the Volkswagen brand's Head of Interior Design gives a sigh of satisfaction: "This is just perfect. I'm so happy! It's a great feeling to know that almost three years of a demanding design process have totally paid off and we can truly say we have created something completely new !"
