Interior
The exclusive cockpit landscape with digital instruments offers an 8.0-inch infotainment system with navigation function as standard. Touch sliders are used to regulate the electronically controlled air conditioning system. Also new: the leather multifunction steering wheel and the wireless integration of apps via “App-Connect Wireless”. Both at the front and in the rear, the driver and companion benefit from the modular transverse toolkit (MQB). The maximum legroom of 1,016 mm is a best-in-class value.
The highlights of the new Arteon
The advance sale for the new Arteon is running. For the first time Volkswagen is offering the model in two body versions. As before, as a coupé-like Fastback and as a spacious Shooting Brake with a distinctly sporty rear end. In both versions, the new Arteon scores with numerous innovations. We show selected examples.

Storage space
Behind the rear seats of the Arteon Shooting Brake, 565 liters of storage space (Fastback: 563 liters) opens up, up to the height of the luggage cover. When stowed up to the back of the front seats, the volume increases to 1,632 liters (Fastback: 1,557 liters).
Travel Assist
The optional “Travel Assist” allows semi-automated driving up to 210 km/h (within the system limits). Especially journeys in stop-and-go traffic and through roadworks become noticeably more comfortable.
Ambient lighting
On request, the interior can be equipped with ambient lighting in up to 30 colors. This illuminates the decors in the front and rear door panels – light thus becomes the new chrome.
Exterior
On the outside, the new Arteon convinces with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED taillights, among other things. New: A continuous light band connects the front headlights.

Engine:
The “Arteon” equipment version with a 110 kW (150 PS) turbo diesel (TDI) and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG) is available at the start of ordering. Thanks to Twindosing technology, the TDI engine impresses with pioneering low NOx emissions and high efficiency. In the coming months, further engine/transmission variants will be added to the range, including a plug-in hybrid drive and a new R-model.
