Based on the eighth generation of Golf Variant cars, the Golf Variant is versatile, digital and efficient. This new version is 66 mm longer, offering more legroom and enough space for an entire family and their sports or leisure equipment. For maximum comfort and safety, its standard items of equipment include numerous driver assistance systems. And, for the first time, its broad range of drive systems now comprises a mild-hybrid engine as well as TDI units with twin dosing technology. The Golf Alltrack, a new crossover model that is based on the Golf Variant, features permanent all-wheel drive (4MOTION) as standard and is characterised by increased ground clearance, an all-terrain look that includes specially designed bumpers, and a customised interior. Now available with natural gas drive again: pre-sales of the new Golf TGI underway
The new Golf is now also available with an environmentally-friendly natural gas drive: the Golf TGI is equipped with a powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 96 kW / 130 PS and three natural gas fuel tanks. The tanks are integrated into the underbody and permit a range of around 400 kilometres (WLTP) in pure natural gas mode.
